Very basic but very good value for money. Willing service, reasonably clean rooms, clean linen and toilet and obliging manager give enough relief to the boarders. Recommended for short trips for long road trips like what we did.

Prince is actually a lodge. No boarding, only lodging. That said, we were a group of 6 adults and 6 children visiting keonjhar for two days, sightseeing, and were pleased with the spot. Highlights were the efficient and curtious staff, the cleanliness and the cost. We found Prince on tripadvisor. We decided not to book online, a wise choice in hindsight as the discounted room available online was not what we needed. The property is managed by the owner himself, a genial gentleman. Rooms come in all variants, AC/ NonAC. With Geyser, without geyser. View/ No view (overlooking a small pond - not free from litter though). We took the AC with Geyser, which was the top end, worth the extra paid, yet I am sure cheaper than the next bigger hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were well maintained and clean, and the men could let out a sigh of relief as it seemed to have passed in the scrutiny of the ladies. Bath linen from Bombay Dyeing was fresh. Hot tea and coffee, from a vending machine in the building, was available, which one could ask for by pressing a bell in the room, which hails the young boys who look after the place. The bell also needs to be used to turn on the geyser we found out. Since we had our cars we could go around for food, otherwise the nearest good restaurants were around a km away. There were a few small eateries right in front on the main road as well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we could experience a little of Keonjhar at Prince.

Stayed in this place during my 1 day visit to Keonjhar for some work. Soon after bokking thorugh a travel portal, I got a call from the hotel inquiring about the time of arrival, etc. The interaction was quite pleasant and the few questions I had were promptly answered. Reached the hotel late in the evening, the room was ready and I was shown and checked in promptly. For a night's stay the room was ok, It was clean and the restroom was clean too. I was traveling with an infant and hence wanted some containers washed and cleaned which the staff did promptly. There were a few power interruptions but they had back-up power and hence was not an issue. The Hotel has no provision for food and hence you will need to step out however you do have a few places nearby and hence guess it would not be a big issue. Overall for a night, it was a OK.

Value for money hotel at an excellent location

Hotel is at an excellent location and great for the price. No formal car/4-wheeler parking space, however there is ample space for say, 4 vehicles in front of the hotel. Outstandingly neat and clean, and rooms are spacious. Amenities included a large open cupboard, tea table and chairs, TV, AC and heater (though did not use the last two). Service staff is polite, but we had to ask them for towel and soap (they forgot to send them in). There is no food arrangement - you have to go out for that. WiFi seems to be from 6AM to 9AM (did not try it though). The deluxe rooms had Indian toilet (when asked for rooms with western, they pointed to the rate chart for an extra fee for such rooms).
